Accessing and using prisondirectory.org (“Prison Directory”), published by VORTICEPACIFICO ENGENHARIA LDA (NIF/NIPC PT518972895), implies acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. By using it you declare that you have sufficient legal capacity under the laws of your country.
2. Informational nature of the service
Prison Directory provides general information about the location and public contact details of correctional and detention establishments. It does not provide legal advice, is not an official service, does not manage visits or procedures and is not an emergency service. The information never replaces that provided by the competent authorities.
3. Disclaimer of warranties (“as is” and “as available”)
The content is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that the data is accurate, complete or current, that the service is free from interruptions or errors, or that it is suitable for any particular purpose. Addresses, phone numbers, capacities and hours may have changed or been recorded incorrectly in the source.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VORTICEPACIFICO ENGENHARIA LDA is not liable for direct or indirect damages, losses, expenses or harm (including wasted journeys, missed appointments or decisions taken) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website, or from reliance on its content. - Use the information to plan or facilitate criminal activity, unauthorised access to facilities or the introduction of prohibited items;

8. Corrections and removal of content
Any prison administration, facility manager or person with a legitimate interest may request, free of charge, the correction or removal of a profile at legal@vorticepacifico.com, stating the specific URL.

We may modify these terms, the content or the availability of the website at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page. If any provision is declared void or unenforceable, the others remain fully valid.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Portuguese Republic and European Union regulations. The courts of Viana do Castelo (Portugal) have jurisdiction to settle any dispute, without prejudice to consumers' mandatory rights.
