Request a correction or the removal of a profile
Write to legal@vorticepacifico.com or info@vorticepacifico.com stating the web address (URL) of the profile, the data to be corrected or the removal you request and, where relevant, your relationship with the facility (for example, manager or spokesperson of the administration) so that we can verify it. This is free of charge.
Authorities and facility managers
If you represent a prison administration or a facility, you can verify and update the information on your profiles — address, phone, hours and capacity — free of charge by writing from an institutional email. For the change to be permanent in the source, it can also be reflected in OpenStreetMap.
Press and research
For press enquiries, studies or reuse of data, write to info@vorticepacifico.com. The geographic data comes from OpenStreetMap and is governed by the ODbL licence; the design, structure and original texts of the directory are protected.

To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure or objection, write to legal@vorticepacifico.com. More information in the privacy policy.
What we cannot do
Prison Directory does not manage visits, communications or procedures relating to inmates, does not provide legal advice and is not an emergency service. For those matters, contact the facility or the competent prison administration. In an emergency, call your country's emergency number.
Response time
We handle requests as soon as possible; requests to remove personal data are treated as a priority. We only reply from the emails listed on this page. More about the project on the About page.
